The apartment will be professionally cleaned and inspected prior to move-in.
You do not need to be present for a work order to be completed but we do request your permission to enter the unit.
We have a full on-site maintenance team that strives to complete work orders within a 24 hour period, including on-call maintenance for any emergencies.
You may put a work order request in through your resident portal or contact the leasing office for further assistance.
If a resident or occupant is locked out of their apartment home during office hours, they can provide government-issued ID to the leasing office and access will be facilitated by a member of our management team. We do not assist in after-office hour lockouts. If you or a member of your household is locked out of your apartment, after office hours, it is the responsibility of the resident to contact a locksmith, at the resident's expense, and you must provide the leasing office with a copy of your new key on the following day.
Yes, each lease holder is allowed one unassigned parking space, not to exceed two spaces, at no additional cost. Unassigned spaces are first come first serve and subject to availability. Only currently registered and operable vehicles are allowed. You may also request one of our reserved parking spaces for an additional monthly fee (subject to availability).
Our community will have a clubhouse with a fitness center, outdoor courtyard with a salt-water pool and tanning ledge, gas grills, dog park, and much more.
We keep our pools open year round however, they are not heated so in the cooler months, swim at your own risk!
We'd love for you to bring your four legged friends to live with you at Alta Davis, however, breed restrictions do apply so please contact the leasing office for further information.
Our apartments feature a stainless steel GE appliance package including refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and stove, as well as in-unit washer and dryer.
We do not provide furnished apartments but we do partner with Cort Furniture rental and are happy to refer you for any furnished apartment needs you may have during your residency.
We strive to approve applications within 48 hours of submittal of the application and all required and requested documentation. Some applications can pre-approved immediately but would still require document verification. Once approved the applicant must sign all lease forms within 72 hours off approval to continue to secure the location, pricing and/or specials applicable.
The first payment is due in certified funds and every payment following can be made online through our community payment portal. These payments can be made via credit or *debit card, or *direct account payments. You may also provide a payment via certified funds or *personal check made payable to Alta Davis, at our leasing office during office hours. *For accounts in good standing and non-restricted payment status.
Yes, we require renter's insurance with Alta Davis listed as additional interested party and personal liability amount being $100,000 minimum.
We are pre-wired for Spectrum and Google Fiber.
Once the lease has been signed, you're legally bound to your rental agreement however the option to pay a "buy-out option" may be presented.
You can use the Updater App/Link, listed on your Welcome Letter, to perform a one link process in establishing your required Duke Energy account, in addition to your elected services through Spectrum or Google Fiber. You may also connect these utilities and services by directly contacting each individual provider on-line or via phone. Your Conservice W/S account and your door-to-door trash pick-up account is automatically established through the leasing office upon move-in.
All utilities will be separate expenses from rent.
We are within 0.6 miles or a 13 min. walk of the Slater and Page Rd. stop, with buses 12B and 805 servicing the stop.
Durham Public Schools: Bethesda Elementary School, Lowes Grove Middle School, Hillside High School (please check the district websites for the most current school assignments)
We are located off of Hopson Rd (Page Rd), near the Hopson 147 Expressway exit, minutes from I540, I40 and between, Davis Drive and S. Miami BLVD.
